Nadi Shodhana is a particularly important Pranayama, a powerful and effective breathing practice that is a process of unloading and clearing the energy channels (Nadis). If we see the goal of our spiritual development as higher meditation practices, then we need serious preliminary preparation. This technique can be attributed to one of its aspects.

Performing Nadi Shodhana Pranayama and relaxes the body, calms the mind, harmonizes relationships with the world. This is due to the release of Nadia from blockages. Breathing practice clears the body energetically and prepares it for the perception of sufficiently large pranic currents. It frees energy channels from congestion and allows life force to circulate unhindered in the body. It is important to follow the rules of execution, then Pranayama will bring a powerful healing effect. The breath that Nadi cleanses balances the work of the left and right energy channels. From the point of view of the physical body, there is a quantitative equalization of the portions of air passing through each of the nostrils.

Pranayama calms the mental processes, increases the resistance to stress of the psyche, helps to find a way out of difficult situations.

Nadi Shodhana has the following therapeutic effects: prepares for other breathing exercises due to the release of Nadi from energy toxins; enriches the blood with oxygen, which enhances the metabolism (hair and nails grow better, wounds heal faster); makes the psycho-emotional state calm and balanced; cleanses the body of toxins.

Pranayama can be both calming (without holding your breath), then it will be effective in the evening, and energetic (with delays) – effective in the morning. Practicing Nadi Shodhana Pranayama, we discover a new wonderful world, plunging into the endless ocean of tranquility, harmony and happiness.
